We have a great student ministry! But, only because we worship our great God! While the high school students do enjoy their time together, we see parents as the primary disciplers of their children (Deut. 6:4-9). We welcome parents to join us as we come along side them to teach their teens Biblical truths, spiritual disciplines, encourage them to build significant relationships with mature Christ followers, and challenge them with life-changing experiences.
Youth Ministry (ages 14 & up)
Weekly, we gather together for Discipleship Class at 9:00 AM. We just finished a study of Baptism and the Lord's Supper and are currently studying a theme called Training in Righteousness. We use The Gospel Project.
Every other Wednesday evening (same night as the men's Bible study), we meet for Youth Group from 7:00-8:30 PM. This is an enjoyable time of teaching, small groups, and sharing life with each other for 8-12th grade.
Once a month, we have a Youth Fellowship for 6-12th grade. This is an opportunity to develop relationships with one another in a "host home" setting. We also encourage the youth to join their families at our monthly service project.
College & Career Ministry
Weekly, we gather together for Sunday School at 9:00 AM. We are currently studying The Beatitudes.
As young adults, we gather to fellowship with one another and serve those around us. We have a 'hang-out' time at a Young Adult leader's house, discipleship groups, and retreats.
There are opportunities for all of our students to serve the body of Christ, locally and internationally, and fellowship with one another throughout the year.
During Vacation Bible School, students have the opportunity to help teach classes and to be involved in the music and drama production.
Students have the opportunity to serve on our Worship team.
Students are able to join New Covenant's Widows Harvest mission team. The team serves for a week alongside Andy Mendonsa in Chattanooga, TN. The team's primary focus is to share the love of Christ by accomplishing a service project for a widow.
